What is MOVA Muscle?
MOVA Muscle is a high-protein oral nutritional supplement for the dietary management of undernutrition and sarcopenia in older adults. Each serve provides 30 g of whey protein isolate in 190 kcal, so it can sit between meals rather than replacing them.
Who is it for?
It is designed for older adults who are losing weight, losing muscle, or struggling to meet their protein needs from food alone. Families and carers order it for someone at home, and aged care facilities order it for residents.
How is it different from other supplement drinks?
Most supplement drinks carry a meal's worth of calories, largely as sugar, and still do not deliver enough protein in one serve to support ageing muscle. MOVA Muscle was built the other way around: a full protein dose in a small, low-sugar, low-fat serve that is realistic to finish.
What does it taste like and how do I prepare it?
MOVA Muscle comes in chocolate. Mix one scoop into water or milk, or stir it through porridge, custard or a smoothie.
How big is a tub and how long does it last?
Each tub is 750 g and contains 14 serves. At one serve a day, a tub lasts around two and a half weeks.
